Hello, I’m Maranda Jackson.

Serving as a Mentoring Club Director for Royal Family Kids has been one of the most meaningful and heartfelt experiences of my life. Many children in foster care carry the weight of trauma, loss, and uncertainty at such a young age. Having the opportunity to be a consistent source of encouragement, compassion, and support has shown me the incredible difference that love, attention, and simply showing up can make in a child's life. Maintaining relationships with these children throughout the school year is my absolute favorite. Being able to see them monthly and not just at camp, is truly a gift.

The most rewarding moments have been watching children who were once quiet and guarded begin to smile, trust, and believe in themselves. Seeing their confidence grow, hearing them laugh freely, and knowing they feel valued and accepted reminds me why this work matters so deeply. These children continue to leave an impact on my heart, and it is a privilege to help create positive memories and meaningful relationships that remind them they are worthy, loved, and never forgotten. I love catching the small moments.
